Add/Fetch & Modify Entitlements for Application

IDhub allows you to manage (add/fetch/modify/remove) Entitlements for the applications that you onboard. This document would elaborate on how you can add/fetch/modify entitlements for the applications.

Adding / Fetching Entitlements for the application

  • Go to ‘Manage Catalog' in the Admin Module of IDHub using the credentials of a user that has the role of 'System Administrator' with them. To learn more about IDHub roles, click here
  • Upon reaching Manage Catalog, click on the edit icon of the application where you want to add the entitlement or want to fetch the entitlements for the application
  • Click on the next button (2 times) at the bottom of the edit application wizard and you will get to the entitlement section as is shown in the screenshot below:

Adding Entitlements for a Disconnected application

  • In case of a disconnected application, you will have to add the Entitlements manually
  • Click here to view more details about adding entitlements in an application.

Fetching Entitlements for a Connected application

  • In the case of a connected application, there will be a “Fetch Entitlements" link at the top right corner of the page. Clicking on that link, IDHub will fetch all the entitlements from the target system to IDHub automatically.

Modifying Entitlements for Application

  • In the right hand side of Entitlement section of the Edit Application Wizard, IDHub will show the list of already added entitlements for the application. Click on the Edit icon of the entitlement which you want to edit.
  • Upon clicking on the edit icon, the information of the entitlement would come in the left hand side and you can do the required modifications of the entitlement as you see fit.

Removing Entitlements

  • You can remove any fetched entitlements if you don’t need them, by clicking on the remove icon in the right hand side of Entitlement section of the Edit Application Wizard
note
  • In case of connected application, editing entitlement configuration is highly specific to the target system (application) from which the entitlements are fetched. IDHub allows you to set the configuration of the entitlements for the application as per the target system. Click Here to view some best practices regarding your target system entitlement configuration.
